BELLAR, Harriet Jane (Fletcher) - Was called to be with her Lord on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 with her family at her side. She was born May 17, 1917 in Chicago, Illinois to Christian and Anna Fletcher. On October 27, 1937 Harriet married Monroe Lawson Bellar, who preceded her in death in 2006. Surviving are two sons, Monroe (Sandra) Bellar of Shreveport, LA, and John (Alice) Bellar of Brights Grove, Ontario, Canada and daughter, Janice Welch of Birch Run, MI; Grandchildren, Michael, David, Sue Ellen, Sheryl, Christina, Eugene and Eric; 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Also preceding her in death are two brothers, Henry and Charles and sister, Margret “Peggy”. Harriet was a Stenographer and worked as a secretary for the Warren police Department before retiring in 1978. Her passion was China Painting (porcelain). She was a member of the World Organization of China Painters and the International Porcelain Artists and Teachers Inc. A viewing will be held on Friday, August 10, 2007 from 2-4 and 6- 8PM at the FRANKFORT CHAPEL of MCELDUFF-JOWETT FUNERAL HOME. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 11th at Herring Lake Baptist Church, 4433 S. Scenic Hwy, Frankfort, MI at 11:00 AM with Reverend Robert McLaughlin officiating. The Frankfort Chapel of McElduff-Jowett Funeral Home & Cremation Service is handling the arrangements. 10775682
