MITCHELL, Gerald (Mike) - At Bluewater Health - C.E.E. Site, Petrolia on Thursday, August 9, 2007. GERALD (MIKE) MITCHELL, 91 years, of Oil Springs. Loving husband of the late Mildred (nee Hull) (1984). Dearly loved father of Geraldine and Roger Huard of Sarnia, Georgine and John Strangway of Wallaceburg, John Mitchell of Oil Springs, Mary and Don Saunders of Oil Springs, Bonnie and Ron Strangway of Oil Springs, Roger and Carol Mitchell of Oil Springs, and Wayne and Eleanor Mitchell of Oil Springs. He will be missed by his grandchildren Scott, Todd, Melissa, Darryl, Curtis, Lisa, Rob, Brenda, Michelle, Christine, Matthew, Tim, Teresa, Julie, Mike, and Darcy and twenty four great grandchildren. Dear brother to Evelyn Adams and Joanne and Bill Randall and brother-in-law to Jack and Myrtle Hull, Dorothy Hull, and Hazel Hull. Gerald was predeceased by a granddaughter Annette, sisters Vivian Gasco and Jean Cascaden and a brother Raymond Mitchell. Gerald spent many years working as an oil producer in the Oil Springs area. Visitors will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia where a funeral service will held on Monday, August 13, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Oil Springs Cemetery.
