James Henry SELLERS

SELLERS, James Henry - formerly of Kingston Ont. passed away peacefully at the Victoria General Hospital on August 26, 2007. Born near Vantage Saskatewan December 3, 1914. Married Marion Katherine Spence September 16, 1944 (deceased). Survived by his three children Spence, Deborah and Wendy and his two sisters Stella and Leora and his brother Delmar. Jim made history by graduating from the first ever class of Registered Male Nurses in Canada. He used this education to serve at the Kingston Penitentiary as the officer in charge of the Psychiatric Ward. Later he served as Administrator of Rideaucrest Home for the Aged for 15 years until his retirement in 1974. He was known by many for his active faith as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Memorial Services will be held at he Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3067 Tillicum Rd. Victoria BC. at 2:00 PM Sept.8, 2007.
