BOYD, Patrick Harold “Pat“ - Mr. Pat Boyd, beloved husband of Mrs. Christina Boyd of Medicine Hat, Alberta, passed away on Sunday, July 29th, 2007 at the age of 54 years. Pat also leaves to cherish his memory three sons, Stephen of Victoria, British Columbia, Patrick and Randy, both of Medicine Hat; one brother, James “Jim“ (Liz) of Lansdowne, Ontario; one sister, Nora (Douglas) McCleary of Ottawa, Ontario; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Pat was predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Betty. Born on September 19th, 1952 in Brockville, Ontario, Pat was raised in Lansdowne and received his education in Lansdowne and Gananoque. On June 30th, 1972 he married Christina Smith in Gananoque and they came to Alberta in 1982. Pat started working in the oil and gas industry all over Alberta, Saskatchewan and the North West Territories, but for the last 10 years he worked as a driller for AKITA Drilling. Pat enjoyed woodworking, golfing and spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed. The Funeral Service will be held in SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Friday, August 3rd, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating.
