ST. ANDREWS, Madge Elva - Peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at the Kingston General Hospital on Saturday, August 18, 2007. Beloved daughter of Alice Chippendale of Gananoque and the late William McIlroy. Dearest mother of Sharon Fleming (Tom) and Edward Gordon (Shelley). Dear sister of George White (Kim). Loving friend of Vernon Ubdegrove. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Predeceased by 2 sisters Bertha Watson and Rosaleen White and 3 brothers John & Bud White and Bill McIlroy. The family will receive friends at the TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME 63 Garden St. Gananoque on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7- 9pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday August 23 at 11am. Interment will be held at a later date in Sandhill Cemetery Battersea. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
