CUMMING, Dr. Harold Wallace - It is with great sadness that we announce his sudden passing at home, Saturday August 25th 2007 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of 61 years to Madeleine. Much loved father of Jim (Janet), Harry, Cathy (Jean Dansereau), Geoff, and Jo (Walter Gifford). Proud grandfather of Blair, Jared, Pax and Leah, Jennie and Geoff, Pascal (Shelly), Michele (Mathieu), Stephanie (Nicolas) and Jessica (Keven), Peter, Matthew and Kate; and great-grandfather of Sofia, Olivier, Eloise and Benjamin. Survived by his sister Betty Thomson. Predeceased by his brothers Donald and John. Hal will be especially remembered by many other close family members and long-time friends. Born in Bashaw, Alberta, WW2 RCAF flight lieutenant & instructor, graduated from Queen's medicine 1951, he practiced family medicine in Kingston until 1986. Hal's great passion for life and family and his love of genealogy and history gave him the strength and courage to face his many medical challenges. Family and friends will be received at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, CATARAQUI CHAPEL (1900 John Counter Blvd. at Highway 2) on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm. Memorial Service to be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 11am, with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital - Physiotherapy Department, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. 10800024
