HEWITT, Ruth V. - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Ruth V Hewitt (nee Dalliday) in her 86th year at Fairhaven Nuring Home on Saturday, September 8, 2007. Life long crafter, formerly of Howden Ave. and her beloved cottage on Kashabog Lake. Wife of the late Kenneth Hewitt. Loving mother of Bill (Arlene) and Linda Hewitt both of Peterborough and Marilyn (Bob) Jones of Fife's Bay. Cherished Granny of Bill Jr. Hewitt, Kelly (Guy) Simard, Chris, Kirk, Dean (Kim), Darren (Lisa) Jones, Derek and Stacey Minnie. Beloved Great Granny of Nicholas and Zac Hewitt, Dylan, Chanel and Cameron Simard, Carly and John Jones, Kyle, Grant, Jade and Brett Jones, Joshua and Brittany Jones. Daughter of the late William and Irene Dalliday. Beloved sister of the late Betty Brooks, the late Mary Adams, the late Irene Grainger and the late Harold Dalliday. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday September 11, 2007 at 11 a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior at the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL (600 Monaghan Rd. S.) Reception to follow the service in the Nisbett Reception Centre. Interment Highland Park Cemetery.
