Loving father to Hazel Sambell of London, Susan and Bruce Vokes of Petrolia, Glenda McCallum and Wayne Metcalfe of Petrolia and Rick and Christine Sambell of Ottawa. Loving grandfather to Todd and Trina Vokes of Georgetown and Adam and Dana Vokes of Petrolia and great grandfather to Taylor, Maddie and Sydney. Dear brother to Ted, Reg, Keith, Bernard, Pat and the late John, Ben, Albert and Rose. Len served with the Royal Air Force. His career as a well respected welder, supervisor and teacher took him to job sites across Canada. Visitors will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Phil Kazek of First Baptist Church, Petrolia, officiating. Interment in Hillsdale Cemetery, Petrolia.
