William Douglas Laurence BLAKELY

BLAKELY, William Douglas Laurence - Passed away peacefully at Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Sunday September 9, 2007. Doug Blakely of Havelock in his 80th year (Retired Lifetime Employee of the Canadian Pacific Railway). Beloved husband of Betty (nee Davies) for almost 60 years. Dear father of Jack and his wife Cathy, Paul and his wife Mary, Bill and his wife Roberta and Mary and her husband Rick all of Havelock. Grandpa Doug will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, John, Vicki, Scott and Karen; Kevin, Katie, Darren and Shannon; Taylor, Ryan and Jessica; Blake and Holly; Dusty and Candice and great-grandchildren, Christian, Abigail, Kamryn and Ryleigh. Doug was also predeceased by his four sisters, Norma Lowe, Jeanne Price, Lois McNish and June Alley and will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at Brett “Havelock“ Chapel. Service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, September 13, 2007 with the Reverend Gloria Master officiating. Interment at Maple Grove Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made (by cheque only) to St. John's Anglican Church, Havelock or the Canadian Cancer Society. 10820439
