JARVIS, Grant Alexander - age 86, of Corunna, formerly of the 8th concession of Moore. Passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at Bluewater Health, Mitton Site, Sarnia. Beloved husband of the late Norma “Jean“ (Eves) Jarvis (2002) for 50 years. Dear father of Gayle (Pat) Donohue, Marathon; Robert (Audrey) Jarvis, Mooretown; Bruce (late Debbie) Jarvis and family, Corunna; Daniel of Mooretown. Dear grandfather of Krista and Brandon Jarvis, Nicole (Doug) Wilson, Beth, Kym and Pam Donohue. Proud great grandfather of Tyler Wilson. Dear brother of Doris (late Robert) Newman. Brother-in-law of James (Shirley) Eves, RR#5 Wallaceburg, Reginald and Doris Dick of Chatham. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Mary (Allan) Restorick, sister-in-law Elma Dick. Grant was the son of the late Robert (1978) and Myrtle (Crossley) Jarvis (1980) who were pioneer's on the 8th concession of Moore Township. Grant farmed on the homestead his entire life as well as working construction as a proud pipefitter for 55 years with the local Pipefitters Union #663. Friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHER FUNERAL HOME, BRIGDEN on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 from 7-9pm. Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday September 13th from St. Paul's United Church, 360 Devine St. Sarnia at 2:00 pm. There will be visitation at the church 1 hour prior to the funeral service. Interment Bear Creek Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to charity of choice.
