KRAETZER, Albert Jacob - (Founder, Beavermead Construction) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, opa and great-grandfather on Monday, September 10, 2007 in his 80th year. Surrounded by his loved ones, he passed away peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Rogers St., Palliative Care. Great love and husband for 52 years of Trudy (nee Klundert). Much loved father of Rick (Gayle), Henrietta (Michael Charbonneau), Mary Ann (Robert Robillard) and John A. (Janice). Opa was always a hands-on grandfather to his grandchildren Justin (Chandel), Allan, Ashley, Kelsey, Aaron, Amber and Alexis. They were his pride and joy. New great- grandfather to baby Alyssa (1 week old). Born in Holland to the late Henricus and Maria Kraetzer, Albert, as a young man, chose to become a proud Canadian in 1951. Also left to mourn his loss are his family and friends in Peterborough, Holland, California and his beloved Curacao. At Albert's request, a private family service was celebrated on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at Little Lake Cemetery. He will rest overlooking the lake and in clear view of his home. In memory of Albert, donations may be made to the P.R.H.C. or the Peterborough Humane Society and can be made through LITTLE LAKE CEMETERY at 745-6984. At this time, we wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. D. Turner, Dr. S. Ragaz, the nursing staff on Hutch 5 and Palliative Care, and Kryn Vandermey and staff at Little Lake Cemetery. We are also grateful for the love and support shown to us by friends and family throughout this very difficult time. Wel terusten, Opa 10823247
