HORROCKS, Willa Irene - Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at the Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday, September 12, 2007. The former Willa Irene Fraser, at the age of 78. Beloved wife of the late Hillier ‘Hid' Horrocks. Loving mother of Judy Tweedley and her husband Dave of Harrowsmith and John Horrocks and his wife Cheryl of Kingston. Proud grandmother of Cheryl Hawley and her husband John, also of Harrowsmith and great grandmother of Laura and Kyrin. Dear sister of Bill Fraser and his wife Phyllis and Maryilyn Holden (her late husband Doug), all of Kingston. Also remembered by brothers-in-law John and his wife Bea, Ab and his wife Betty, Anson and his wife Brenda, sister-in-law Lil and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents William Fraser and Laura Albert, sister Inez Freeman and her husband Percy, sister-in-law Marion Shewell and her husband Austin and Terry Horrocks and his wife Joan. Resting at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, CATARAQUI CHAPEL (1900 John Counter Boulevard) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Saturday, September 15, 2007 for service in the chapel of the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. The Reverend Lewis Bryant officiating. Interment Cataraqui Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
