JORDAN, Kenneth Jerome - On Friday, September 14, 2007 Kenneth Jerome Jordan, aged 84, passed away at Bluewater Health Palliative Care, Sarnia. He leaves behind his wife Geraldine (Kenny), his one daughter Mary Anne and her husband Bill Moore, his three sons, Barry and his wife Sandra Jordan of Dundas, Ontario, Garry and his wife Janice Jordan of Wyoming and James Kenneth Jordan of Sarnia. Sadly missed by 7 grandchildren: Kerri and her husband Brian Schoonjans of Forest, Scott Jordan of Waterloo, Michael and his wife Julie-Ann Jordan of Waterloo, Bradley Jordan of Hamilton, Patricia Jordan of Hamilton, Lindsay Moore and James Moore, both of Sarnia and 4 great grandchildren: Jacob, Zachary, Evan and Benjamin Schoonjans. He will be sadly missed by his brother Francis of Stratford, Tom and his wife Phyllis of Stratford, and sisters Marie Hishon of Kitchener, Eleanor Murray of Gadshill, Donna McCann of Sarnia and Maureen Smith of Stratford. Also survived by sister-in-law Mary McCann of Stratford. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.Predeceased by his parents Francis and Mary Jordan and one brother, Cyril. Ken was a member of Sacred Heart Church where he served as a very active volunteer in many ways. Ken was also a loyal and longtime member of #1429 Knights of Columbus for many years. He was employed with Superior Propane for 40 years working in Stratford and Sarnia where he served as Plant Manager (operations, sales and service). Ken will be fondly remembered by the vast array of customers, associates and fellow employees from his career in the propane industry. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Church, 1465 Lecaron Ave., Sarnia. Cremation will follow.Family and friends will be received at the SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 pm and evening from 7 to 9 pm. Prayers will be offered at 8:30 pm at the funeral home.Any desire to donate may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Bluewater Health Palliative Care. The family wishes to sincerely thank the outstanding staff at the Bluewater Health Palliative Care. Their tenderness and compassionate care is very much appreciated.
