THOMPSON, Dr. John - At Victoria Hospital, on Sunday, September 16, 2007, following a long illness, Dr. John Thompson of London in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Margaret Thompson. Dear father of Ian Thompson (Kristy) and Janet Reid (Rob). Loving grandfather of Jennifer, Claire and Gillian. Brother of Dr. Hal Thompson of Scotland and Dr. William Thompson of Northern Ireland and brother- in-law of Ronnie and Elizabeth Brittain of Ireland. John had his practices in Sault Ste. Marie, Kingston and London. A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, September 20th, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation 1/2 hour prior at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. Rev. Dr. Terry Ingram of Oakridge Presbyterian Church officiating. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of John are asked to consider C.P.R.I., Adam Linton Dialysis Unit or Juvenile Diabetes.
