Sarah MCHENRY

FORSYTH, Sarah P., R.N. - Age 78 of Port Huron, Michigan passed away Monday, September 17, 2007 after a long illness. She was born on March 10, 1929 in Feeny, Northern Ireland, daughter of the late John and Sara McHenry. Sarah married George G. Forsyth on April 25, 1953 in Sarnia, Ontario. She graduated from St. Joseph School of Nursing in 1951 in Chatham, Ontario, Canada. She was an airline stewardess with Trans Canada Airlines. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 84 of Royal Oak, Michigan. Sarah worked for the State of Michigan from 1977 to 1988. She was head nurse at Detroit Psychiatric Institute in Detroit. Sarah is survived by husband, George G. Forsyth; two sons, Donald of Detroit, MI and Grant (Kathy) of Marysville, MI; five grandchildren, Derek, Frances and Douglas of Port Huron, MI and Amy and Danielle of Garden City, MI; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday in the JOWETT FUNERAL HOME, 1634 Lapeer Ave. at 17th Street, Port Huron, MI. Pastor Donald Sperling will officiate. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Thursday 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorial tribute may be made to Make a Wish Foundation. 10833612
