DOUGLAS REYNOLDS Obits - Friday, September 21, 2007 Updated @ 8:35:43 AM Douglas Reynolds Douglas Reynolds, 61, of Hanover, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Grey Bruce Regional Health Centre, Owen Sound on Thursday, September 13, 2007. Born in Hanover, son of the late William and Beatrice (Harper) Reynolds. Survived by loving spouse for 33 years Norma McDougall, dear father to Chris of Hanover and Doug of Owen Sound, papa to special granddaughter Coral “Charly” McDougall of Woodstock and Cameron McDougall of Barrie. Also survived by special sister Dolly Walls (Danny Underhill) of New Brunswick, daughter Tammy Weppler of Walkerton, sisters Sandra Bellamy and Evelyn Scheifele, both of Kitchener, and brother Bruce Reynolds of New Brunswick. Doug had many nieces and nephews, especially Billy, Danny and Jamie Walls, all of New Brunswick, and Ricky Spielmacher of Hanover. He will also be remembered by sister-in-law Donna (Wayne) Whiteman of Hanover, brothers-in-law Bob (Pat) of Williamsford, Ken (Joan) of Northern Ontario, Gary (Pat) Carmount of Kitchener, Keith Walls of New Brunswick and Dick Spielmacher of Hanover. Predeceased by sisters Ruth Spielmacher, Helen McTaggart, Joyce Reynolds, Yvonne Smart and brother Leonard Reynolds. Doug had many close friends and will be missed by each and every one. At Doug’s request there will be no funeral or visitation. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to the Liver Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Salvation Army of Hanover would be appreciated. Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, assisting with funeral arrangements.
