Jack PERKIO

PERKIO, Jack - In loving memory of Jack Perkio, 65 years, who passed away Sunday, September 9th, 2007 at the SRH-St. Joseph's Health Center. Jack was born in Montreal and married Harriet (Gillen) in 1962 in Sudbury. Jack came to Sudbury as a child. He worked for INCO as a hoistman at Stobie Mine, retiring in 1999 with 32 1/2 years service. He enjoyed riding his ATV in the bush, working in his yard and taking neighbourhood walks. He will be remembered for his inspired work ethic and devotion to his loving family. Husband of Harriet (Gillen) Perkio of Sudbury. Loving father of Brian Perkio of Toronto and Brenda Whidden of Sudbury. Cherished grandfather of Jeffrey Perkio, Dylan and Kelsey Whidden. Dear son of Alice Perkio of Sudbury and George Perkio predeceased. Resting at the JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St. Sudbury. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel Wednesday, September 12th, 2007 at 11:30 am. Cremation with entombment in the Civic Cemetery. Donations to the Northeastern Ontario Regional Cancer Center would be appreciated.
