TRUDEAU, Alice (nee Shawanda) - In loving memory of Alice Trudeau (nee Shawanda), 81 years, who passed away at the Manitoulin Health Centre on Sunday, September 9, 2007. Beloved mother of Madeline (Herman), Sylvia, Donna (Eugene), Constance and Abraham, all of Wikwemikong. Also survived by 29 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, her sister Florence Linklater and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents David and Catherine (Aibens) Shawanda, her children; Patricia, Philip, Rose, James and John, 2 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and her sister Marion Kitchikeg. Alice was known to be a very loving and resourceful mother who enjoyed all aspects of life, including traveling. She loved the Lord with all her heart; always reading and studying the Bible and passing it on to her family. She will be remembered for being a great teacher of life to her family. Mom, we thank God for you always. Resting at the South Bay Community Centre on Manitoulin Island. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Grace Church in South Bay on Thursday, September 13th, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at the South Bay Cemetery.
