BASSO, Aquilina “Lina“ (nee Pizzolatto) - In loving memory of Aquilina “Lina“ Basso (nee Pizzolatto), 84 years, who passed away Tuesday, September 11th, 2007 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - St. Joseph's Health Centre. Born on March 10th, 1922 in Padova, Italy. Dear daughter of the late Antonio and Enrica (nee Raesso) Pizzolatto. Lina married Valentino Basso in Sudbury in 1956. Beloved wife of the late Valentino Basso (predeceased 1986). Dearly loved mother of Claudio Basso of Sudbury. Cherished nonna of Taylor, Keaton and Chanelle. Lina was predeceased by many brothers and sisters. Sadly missed by family in Italy. In keeping with Lina's wishes there will be no visitation. A private family prayer service was held in the funeral home. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Interment of ashes in the family plot at the Park Lawn Cemetery. Donations to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged. Arrangements entrusted to the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME. 10827009
