WELKER, Dorothy Jean (Jackson) - A resident of Chatham and formerly of Ridgetown, Dorothy Welker passed away at her home on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at the age of 79. Born in Ridgetown, daughter of the late Albert and Florence (Mundy) Jackson. Beloved wife of the late Robert Welker (June 26, 2007). Dear mother of Larry Welker and his wife Sandra of Hamilton. Loved grandmother of Richard and Teri, Mandy and Curtis, and Haley. Great-grandmother of Austin, Riley, Nathan, Brooke, and Alexis. Sister of Gail and John Dunne of Chatham, Myrle Zimmer of Chatham, Anne Doman of Chatham and the late Kenneth (1987), Tom (1993), and Maxine (2006). Family visiting and funeral service was held at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Monday, September 3, 2007 with Major Scott Rideout of the Salvation Army officiating.
