WALKER, John C. - peacefully , at home with his wife Joan by his side on Wednesday September 5, 2007 at age 72. Beloved husband of 43 years to Joan Walker. Cherished Dad of David Walker, Lynn VanDyke (Hanno), and Michael Walker (Jenny). Loving grandpa of Warren, Hailey, and Olivia VanDyke, and Annabelle Walker. Also survived by 3 brothers, 3 sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. John was past President, of Waterford Minor Hockey League, he spent many years coaching minor hockey and minor softball in Waterford , John also was on the executive for Rockford Yin's Mens fastball team. The family will receive friends to share their memories of John at THE BALDOCK FUNERAL HOME 96 Norfolk St. N., Simcoe on Monday September 10, 2007 from 1:00 -2:30 pm. Funeral Service to celebrate John's life will commence at 2:30 pm with Pastor John Buchwald officiating. Interment to follow at Hartford Baptist Cemetery.
