CARPENTER, HERB Veteran of WW II, member of Masonic Caledonian Lodge Peacefully, at the IOOF Nursing Home, Barrie with his family by his side, on Monday September 3rd, 2007 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Dorothy Carpenter. Loving father of John and Mary and Dave and Sheila. Cherished grandfather of Carol and Keith, Nadine and Eric and Ainslee and loving great grandfather of Simon and Claire. Dear brother of Agatha and predeceased by Annie, Murray and Walter. Friends will be received at the Nicholls Funeral Home, 330 Midland Avenue, Midland on Friday September 7th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday September 8th at 2 p.m. Interment Lakeview Cemetery.
