PARKER, Mrs. Edna Irene - Of Burks Falls. The death occurred at Hotel Dieu Shaver Health & Rehabilitation Centre in St. Catharines on Tuesday, September 4th, 2007. Edna Parker, of Burks Falls was in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Wilbert Allan Parker. Dear mother of Sharon Raaflaub (Ken), Warren (Danielle) and Kerry (Joyce). Edna was the proud 'Nanny' to five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, as well as favorite aunt to many nieces and nephews. Edna is survived by sisters Ruth Cockburn, Marjorie Ciana, sister in law Betty Gorman and brother in law Arthur Downer, Predeceased by siblings Isabelle Thomson (William), Mae (Carman Flood, Wilbert McConnell), Henry Gorman (Anne), Joseph Gorman, Mary Downer, brothers in law Gerald Cockburn and Tony Ciana. Mrs. Parker will be resting at the DEMPSTER-ALLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 210 Ontario Street in Burks Falls on Friday, September 7th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Funeral Chapel commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2007.
