JAMNIK, Dr. Irmgard Maria (Prestros) - At the Village of Winston Park, September 8th, 2007, three days prior to her 87 birthday, Irmgard passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord. Survived by daughters Mary and her husband Siegfried, and Johanna, and sons Peter and wife Patty, and Hilary and wife Anita. Irmgard leaves behind 4 grandchildren; Tim Rausch and wife Allison, Chris Rausch and wife Liz, James Rausch and wife Julie, and Helena Jamnik and husband Jody, and nine great grandchildren; Jack, Victoria, Morgan, Abby, Carolyn, Konrad, Reagan, Lain and Kiefer. Irmgard is also survived by her brother Gerhard Prestros and his wife Christina, nephew Ralph and wife Angelika, niece Livia and husband Asmund, and great nephew Fabian, in Austria. Predeceased by husband Johann. Friends and family will be received at the “THORPE BROTHERS' FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL“, 96 West Street, Brantford, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 9 Waverly Street, Brantford, on Thursday, September 13th, at 11am.
