SAMPLE, Grant Willis - of Blenheim passed away Monday September 10, 2007 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus. Grant was born in Chatham 84 years ago to the late Irene (Tyhurst) and Willis Sample. Predeceased by his wife Mavis (McGregor) Sample, Grant is survived by his son Steven Sample and his wife Mary of Guelph, and by daughters Kathryn Ewers and her husband Joseph of Hamilton, also Linda Leigh and her husband Dr. John Leigh of Chatham. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Friends will be received for visitation at the BLENHEIM COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME, 60 Stanley St. Blenheim, on Wednesday September 12, 2007 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service conducted by Rev. Bill Terris of the Blenheim Baptist Church, will be held from the funeral home on Thursday September 13, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Immediately following the service, a funeral reception will be held at the Blenheim Masonic Lodge. A private family interment in Maple Leaf Cemetery will occur following the reception. Friends wishing to make memorial donation in honour of Grant are asked to consider either the Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Association.
