Predeceased by her husband Stanley “Ted“ McPortland. Dearly loved mother of Margot (Elmer) Strongitharm of Coldwater and Yvonne (George) Bedford of Burlington. Dear grandmother of David (Kristina) Bedford of Burlington. Dear grandmother of David (Kristina) Bedford, Heather (Kevin) West, Brian Bedford, Craig (Carolyn) Bedford, Barbara Debassige and Douglas (Terri) Finan. Treasured great-grandmother of eight. Visitation will be held at the SIMCOE FUNERAL HOME, 38 James Street East, Orillia on Saturday, September 22nd from 12 noon until the celebration of Jean's life at 1:15 p.m. Memorial donations to the Dialysis Unit at Soldier's Memorial Hospital, Orillia would be appreciated by the family. 10820515
