MEISSNER, Dietrich - It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing away of Dietrich Meissner (age 70) Friday September 7, 2007 at St. Joseph's hospital in Elliot Lake. Beloved husband of Ingrid Meissner, loving father of Stephen, Bertram and cherished grandfather of seven. Following his request, cremation and a memorial service in Burlington at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Alternative Funeral Services. At this time the Meissner family would like to express their gratitude to all the Doctors, the third floor nurses and the staff at St. Joseph's Hospital, for their kind and loving care they've provided to Dietrich during his stay at the Hospital.
