VERRALL, Arthur Wesley ~ Born in 1925 in Toronto, Arthur died peacefully August 18 in Regina. Ordained in 1956 (United Church of Canada), his life's work was inner city ministry. He had charges in Severn Bridge, Ontario (1957-1961); Brunswick Street United Church, Halifax (1961-1969); Regent Park United Church, Toronto (1969-1975); and Wesley Urban Ministries, Hamilton (1975-1992). After retiring, he was volunteer Associate Minister at Harmony United Church, Brantford. Arthur relocated with his wife Catherine to Regina in 2001. He was active to the end of his life, involved in anti- poverty work. A beautiful service was held in Regina and a memorial celebration will be held in Toronto January 5, 2008. Thankful for many rich years are his wife Catherine; children Krys (Toronto), Ann (Halifax), Elizabeth (Regina), Martin (Hamilton); siblings Robert (Montreal), Dorothy Stewart (Toronto), Evelyn Crawford (Bowmanville); and four grandchildren.
