MANNS, E. Ruth - Peacefully at the Pine Villa Nursing Home, Stoney Creek on Monday, September 17, 2007, in her 91st year. Wife of the late Wilbert Gordon Manns. Beloved mother of Ronald and his wife Linda. Loving grandmother of Colin and his wife Karen and Michael and his wife Charlene and great-grandmother of Ashley and David. Will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Ruth was a former member of the Hamilton Victoria Curling Club. Special thanks to the nursing staff at Pine Villa for their care and compassion. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, September 20 at 1 p.m. Cremation will follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. 10829735
