VEIVO, Helen Violet (nee Ehtamo) - passed away peacefully, at the Laurentian Hospital Complex Continuing Care Unit. Helen was in her 77th year. She was predeceased by her loving husband Heino Veivo, and is survived by her only son Richard Veivo, of Powassan. Helen was a retired nurse who had spent most of her career at the Memorial Hospital in Sudbury. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to WHISPERING PINES FUNERAL HOME LTD. 15 King Street, Powassan Ontario. 724-9734. In keeping with Helen's wishes, a private visitation and service will be conducted at the Whispering Pines Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday September 20, 2007, with Cremation following at Forest Lawn Crematorium.
