McCORMICK, Elva - Peacefully at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener on Wednesday, September 19, 2007; Elva Emily Evans of Paris, in her 84th year; beloved wife of the late Harry McCormick (1955); loved mother of Marsha (Jim) Arnold of Waterloo; fondly remembered by grandchildren, Jill of Toronto and Scott of Waterloo; and dear sister of Mae (Durward) Midgley of Simcoe, Elizabeth (William) Ripley of Ayr, and Nancy Brock of Kitchener; predeceased by brothers Tommy and Jimmy Evans. Cremation has taken place. Private service will be held. Thank you to Dr. Vitou, Dr. MacEachern and the caring nursing staff of Grand River Hospital.
