THOMAS, Helen Angeline - A resident of Chatham passed peacefully Thursday September 20, 2007 at Riverview Gardens in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Thomas (1983). Mother of Frances Fairley (Arthur) of Hamilton, James Thomas (Brenda) of Chatham John Thomas of Chatham and Gail Unsworthy (Larry) of Tupperville. Grandmother of 7. Mrs. Thomas came to Chatham from Saskatchewan in 1948 and has been a member of Evangel Community Church since that time. Together with her husband Robert owned and operated “The Guest House“ on Thames Street in Chatham. The family will receive visitors Sunday September 23, 2007 from 1-4 pm at the BOWMAN FUNERAL HOME, 4 Victoria Ave. (519-352-2390). A service of celebration will take place Monday September 24, 2007 at 10:00 am from Evangel Community Church (76 Sandy's St). Interment to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
