Ian Corbett WILSON

WILSON, Ian Corbett - It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Ian, at the St.Catharines General Hospital on Saturday, September 1, 2007 at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of Margaret (Meg), loving father or Christopher (Brenda) and Barb (Rick) Conners, grandfather of four loving granddaughters: Heather, Jill, Sarah and Rachel, brother of Mary Wilson (England). Ian worked as Director of Finance at Ridley College for many years. He was in the Canadian Army (Queen's Own Rifles), was a treasurer for Kiwanis of St.Catharines Central, volunteered for the St.Catharines Museum and Niagara Regional Police Service, and was involved with the Niagara Children's Safety Village. At Ian's request there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, September 7, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at the Church of the Transfiguration, 320 Glenridge Ave. The family will receive friends in the Church Hall following the service.
