DOTT, Thomas - At the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Tuesday September 4, 2007, surrounded by the love of his family. Thomas Dott in his 80th year, dear husband of Elizabeth (Betty) Geaves. Loving father of Anne-Louise and her husband Luigi Scozzafava, Julie and her husband Luigi Seneca. Proud gramps of Anthony and Nicholas Scozzafava. Brother of Frances and her husband Douglas McKenzie, and the late David Dott (1999) and Mhairi West (2002), and her husband the late Dr. William West (1976). Uncle of Robert West and his wife Janet, Susan West, Catherine Anderson and her husband Alex. Several great nieces and nephews also survive. Born in Inverness Scotland, Tom served with the Royal Navy before coming to Canada in 1953. He was employed with Kaumeyer Paper for 33 years retiring in 1987, and was a member and past Elder of Chippawa Presbyterian Church. Mr. Dott was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 396, and a member and Past Master of King Edward VII Lodge # 471 A.F & A.M. Resting at the funeral chapel of HETHERINGTON AND DEANS, 5176 Victoria Ave. where the family will receive friends Friday 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral service will be held at Chippawa Presbyterian Church on Saturday September 8, 2007, at 11 AM. Interment Holy Trinity Cemetery.
