JENNETT, Jean Adeline (nee McLean) 1905 - 2007 - A long time resident of Ivy passed away peacefully at the I.O.O.F. Home, Barrie on Tuesday, September 4, 2007, in her 102 year. Jean is now united with parents Joseph and Pheobe McLean, brothers Adolphus (Dolph) and Albert (Bert) and sisters Minnie Arnold and Ella McLean. She was married to Elwood Jennett in 1926 who predeceased her in 1977. Guardian mother to Heather Lawson (nee Cunningham) and her husband Bob. Cherished grandmother (Gram) to Kevin and Erin. As Sunday school superintendent and choir leader, she guided the teaching of the young for over 50 years. With her engaging and cheerful personality she will be remembered as “Aunt Jean” to many in the Ivy and surrounding areas. Visitation from Christ Church-St. Jude's, Ivy on Monday, September 10 from 1:00 pm until time of service in the church at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations can be made to Christ Church-St. Jude's. It was Mom's wish that these donations be directed to the church Sunday school program and may be made through MARSHALL W. DRIVER CREMATION & BURIAL SERVICE, 19 Ross St., Barrie, L4N 1E8 734-7616.
