QUINN – Rita Marie Quinn (nee Grightmire) passed away at Port Colborne Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Thursday September 6, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Walter Quinn. Loving mother of James, Joanne, Brian (Jackie), Susan Smith (Garnet), Catherine Bettle (Jamie) and Patricia Garcia (Isidro). She leaves many cherished memories for her 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Survived by her sisters Louise Dubois (Raymond) and Joan Curtis (Wilf). Rita was predeceased by her parents James and Marie Grightmire and sister Helen Warnick. The family will receive their friends at J.J. Patterson & Sons Funeral Residence 19 Young Street, Welland on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where a Vigil will be held at 3:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the parish Community of St. Kevin on Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Private Rite of Committal at Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date.
