DIXON, EDWARD (Ted) MACBETH (Ret'd Teacher - Georgian College, Barrie) - At the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Monday, September 10th, 2007. Ted Dixon, of Orillia and formerly of Toronto and Barrie, beloved husband of Barbara Dixon (nee: Block). Special Pops of Joanne La Chapelle of Barrie. Loving father of Gayle and dear grandfather of Christopher both of Vancouver. Brother-in-law of Mrs. Edna Kay of Scarborough, Mrs. Verna Dixon of Barrie and predeceased by brothers Rex and Allan. As per Ted's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Following cremation, a Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Barrie Union Cemetery.
