LANTEIGNE, Irene Mary (nee Savoie) - Passed away with her loving family by her side, in Linhaven Home for the Aged, on Tuesday, September 11, 2007, in her 64th year of life. Best friend and beloved wife of Martin for 46 years. Loving mother to Lynn (John) McLean, Michael (Laurna), and Daniel. Special daughter to Paula (the late Napolean) Savoie. Cherished Grandma to Melissa, Joey, Michael, Amanda, Daniel, Gage and Jamie. Irene was the oldest sister of Lorraine, Leo, Albenie, Anne Marie, Ida, Valentine, Jacqueline, Luc, Fernand, Emile, Marcel and Diane. Irene is predeceased by her brother Raymond. Mrs. Lanteigne is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., until Saturday at 8:30. A Funeral Liturgy will be held in the Paroisse Immaculee Conception, 99-101 Garnet St., on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Public visitation will take place on Friday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be held, in the funeral home on Friday at 3 p.m. If desired, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
