OWEN, Elizabeth Lily (Pearson) - In the presence of her family on September 18, 2007 at Valley Park Lodge Nursing home, in her 81st year. Predeceased by her husband Art. Cherished aunt of Franklin Pearson (Barb), Cathy Pearson, Jim Pearson (Kathy), Gary Pearson (Janice), Amy White (Bill), Diane Robert (Roger) and Donna Rotondi (Elio), and their families. Survived by her sisters-in-law Doris and Sheila Pearson. Predeceased by her brothers James and Franklin Pearson and her dear sister Mary Massena (Bill). Our heartfelt thanks to the caregivers at Valley Park Lodge where Elizabeth spent the last eighteen months. Elizabeth graduated from the Mack School of Nursing in 1950 and spent her career working as a Public Health Nurse in the Niagara Region. She was instrumental in the implementation of the breast screening program in Niagara. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the MORSE & SON CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 5917 Main Street on Saturday, September 22nd at 1:00 o'clock. Interment at a later date.
