OSTERMAN, Doris (nee Scott). 1921-2007, wife of the late Alex Osterman, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2007 after a short illness. Beloved mother of Carol (partner Catherine) and Steven (husband of Patricia). She leaves to mourn her sisters Muriel (Ken) and Betty (late Henry) and is predeceased by sisters Margaret and Isabel and brother Ronald (Ruth). Survived by sisters-in-law Ruth Scott and Margaret Higgins and son-in-law Frank Harris (Lynda). Dearly loved grandmother of Brent, Gregg (Sharon), Michael, Bradley (partner Melanie), Jennifer, Kelly (Jeff), William (Christine). Great-grandmother of Thomas, David, Michael, Richard, Hazel and Evan. A very special thanks to Ann Sterling for her love and caring of Doris during her illness and to nurses, doctors and the kind and caring staff of Henri-Bradet. Thanks also to Rev. Heather McClure of Wesley United Church for her spiritual care during this difficult time. Family and friends are invited to the Collins, Clarke, MacGillivray, White Funeral Home, 3610 Sherbrooke Street West Montreal H4A 4W5; 514-483-1870, for visitation in the chapel on Sept. 1 at 10 a.m. A chapel service will follow at 11 a.m. Private family burial to take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Van Kleek Hill, Ontario.
