RIZZO, Angelina "Angie" (nee Dinardo) In hospital, Friday, August 31, 2007. Angelina Dinardo in her 93rd year. Widow of Frank Rizzo. Predeceased by brothers Danny, Albert and Sam and sisters Lina Rosanova, Mary Asquini and Rose Tiezzi. Dear aunt of Rose Arnone (late Vincent), Italo Tiezzi, Gloria Bortolotti (Leo), late Silvio Tiezzi, late Joseph Asquini (Alice) of Ottawa and Rose Gardi, Michael Rosanova (Mary) and Carmen Rosanova (Sylvia) of Philadelphia. Angelina showed her devotion to her family when she left her job as a nurse's aid to care for her housebound mother. She will be remembered for her generosity and cheerfulness as well as her open personality by family, friends, fellow residents and staff of Starwood nursing home. She was a lover of Jazz (her husband Frank taught many Ottawa musicians), hockey and football. She was up on all latest news and celebrity gossip. Her family wishes to thank the staff at Starwood for the six years she was allowed to take command and demonstrate her wit, compassion and love. Special thanks to healthcare worker Madeleine Bonner, Fr. Marcel Brodeur, Angela Ierullo and the doctors and nurses at the Queensway Carleton Hospital. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 585 Somerset St. W. (Centretown) Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday to St. Anthony's Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10 a.m. Interment Notre Dame Cemetery.
