STEWART, Tom (Thomas) Askwith Peacefully at the Glebe Centre, on Sunday September 2, 2007 at the age of 86. Son of the late Tom Stewart and Edna Askwith. Beloved husband of the late Freda Mitchell. Dearly loved father and friend to Beth (late Sonny), Pauline (Antony), Andrea and Jennifer (Ron). Loving grandfather to Amy, Isaac and Jesse Watson. Survived by his sister-in-law Vera Mitchell of Bath, England. Predeceased by his brother Harry, sister Valerie Payne and his granddaughter Christine Stewart. Special thanks to the staff at the Glebe Centre (Kentwood) for their care & compassion in his last weeks. Thanks also to the staff at Billings Lodge and the R.O.H. As per his wishes no visitation or service will be held. Cremation and private interment at a later date. In his memory, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Ottawa would be appreciated.
