GAVIN, Rita (nee Broderick). 1926 - 2007. Passed away at the age of eighty-one on August 30, 2007 at Sacre Coeur Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Lester Gavin - both originally from Tignish, P.E.I. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. She lovingly leaves behind her children Diane (Daryl), Norman, Karen, Donna (Mike), Bonnie (Doug), Barbara (Michel), Patricia, grandchildren Terry, Jeremy, Kris Mulderrig; Kim (Barnet), Blake and Ryan Hurley; Michael, Matthew, Jesse and Cody Gomola; Amanda, and Paul Lynes and 3 great-grandchildren, and many loved nieces and nephews. A funeral service in the presence of ashes will be held Saturday, September 8 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Parish, 899 Chomedey Blvd., Laval with a reception to follow at the church. A private burial service will be held at a later date at Cimetiere Notre-Dame de l'Esperance in Ste-Dorothee. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mom's preferred local charity would be appreciated - Agape Inc. 3950 Notre Dame boul., Chomedey, Laval H7W 1S7.
