LAROSE, Pierrette (nee LaRose) Peacefully and surrounded by family on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 in her 84th year, after a brief illness. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Albert. Cherished mother of Ken (Gail), Cosette Chafe, Nancy (Dan Benko) and Sue (Rick Cloherty). Loving Grannie of Stephanie, Alison, Christian (Stephanie), Alexandra and Michaela. Dear sister of Marie-Paule Veit and Liette Barkley and sister-in-law of Bonner Larose, Hector Larose, Raymond & Ruth Larose, Yvonne & Derwood Drew and Anthony Seaby. Pre-deceased by parents Joseph and Blanche LaRose, brothers Jean-Charles and Gilles, and sisters Cosette, Adrienne Daley and Claire Seaby. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Sincere appreciation to doctors Naeema Matuk and Sandra Legault and the staff of the Sandy Hill Retirement Residence, Central Health Services and Palliative Pain and Symptom Management Consultation Service. Family and friends may pay their respects at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Rd. (at Albion Rd.) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11 a.m. in Eglise Ste Genevieve (Arch St. at Canterbury). A reception will follow.
