YIP, Angeline (nee Mar) It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Angeline at her home on Sunday, September 2, 2007 with her family at her side. She will be greatly missed by her husband Rick, children Jill, Andrew, Karen and Jennifer and their partners, grandchildren Benjamin, Andrew and Eveline, mother-in-law Victoria, seven sisters, two brothers, and many family members and friends whose lives and hearts she touched. Angeline was recognized by the Geological Association of Canada for her outstanding contribution to the Canadian Earth Science community through her work as a publication officer at the National Research Council of Canada. She enjoyed gourmet cooking, traveling, reading, volunteering, attending ballet and the visual arts. Angie will be remembered for her gentle strength, patience, generosity, compassion and kindness that she selflessly shared with all those who knew her. The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Louise Coulombe, Dr. A. Sati, Dr. S. Malone, Dr. S. Gertler, Isabel, Kit, Elva, Josette, Caroline, and Shenglin for their compassionate care. Visitation will be held at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway), Ottawa, Ontario K1J 8V1 on Friday, September 7 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, September 8 at 2 p.m. In Angie's memory, donations may be made to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada (1-800-265-5106) or the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation (503 Smyth Road, Ottawa, ON, K1H 1C4).
