OBITUARY SAMUEL (SAMMY) JACOBS Peacefully, in his eighty-fourth year, on Tuesday, September 4, 2007. Son of the late Sophie and the late Morris Jacobs (Chaikow). Beloved husband and soul mate for nearly sixty-four years of Bonnie (Mendelson). Loving father and father-in-law of Maxine and Billy Katz, and Razelle and Michael Prazoff. Cherished "Pop Pop" of Adrienne, Jarred and Robyn, Janice and Steven, and Sherri and Jody (Joseph). Great grandfather of Hudson and Peyton. Dear brother of Lilian and the late Moe Carson, Zena and David Lesser. Predeceased by his other siblings Bill, Paul, Michael, Adele, Freda, Betty, Benny, and Irving. Dear brother-in-law of Esther and the late Saul Mager, the late Mitzie and the late Phil Schnapp, Liz and the late Hymie Mendelson, Corinne and Gerald Frank, Pearl and Erwyn Thaw, Doreen and the late Morty Mendelson. He will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family wishes to thank all the wonderful and dedicated caregivers: Margie Elupre, the late Gaby Grosz, and the staff at Westmount One. A special tribute to Juliet Deslate whose constant love and devotion really made all of our lives more vibrant and dignified.
