LIPS, Katharine (Gross). Peacefully passed on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at the RVH with her loving family by her side after a long and spirited battle with cancer. Beloved wife of the late Andre Lips, Katharine will be remembered for her kindness, affection and courage by her: mother Maria Gross; sister Maria DeBeugher; son Robert; daughter Katherine; son-in-law Barry Rosenthal; granddaughter Lindsay and her niece Jacqueline. Special thanks to Dr. Thirlwell, Dr. Lambert, Dr. Shibata, the NSABP center, Rosie and Josie and the Drs. and nurses on M6 for their gentle care and support. The family will receive condolences on Friday, September 7 at Urgel Bourgie, 1255 Beaumont, TMR. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Oncology Dept.
