OBITUARY MARIA SCHIOCCHET (nee PICCIN) 1926-2007 Passed away peacefully and with dignity, on September 7, 2007, at the age of eighty years, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of late Aldo Schiocchet, loving mother of Anna Lisa (Rene L. Prefontaine) and Christian (Rita Furci), proud grandmother of Eric and Claudia, also survived by sisters-in-law Margherita Piccin and Fiorenza Schiocchet and their families and many friends. The family will receive condolences at 1025 St-Laurent, Longueuil Funeral service from Co-Catherdrale St-Antoine (St-Charles corner chemin Chambly, Longueuil) on Tuesday, September 11, at 9:30 a.m. Thence to St-Georges Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the palliative care unit of the Charles-Lemoyne Hospital or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Visitation on Sunday, from 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, from 2 to 5, and 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday as of 8 a.m. Special thanks to the staff of the palliative care unit of the Charles-Lemoyne Hospital for their outstanding care and compassion.
