GODBEER, Mary Whiteside (nee Heately). Peacefully at Manoir Lac Brome on September 6, 2007 in her ninety-second year. Wife of the late Victor Thomas Godbeer. Mother to Kenneth (Gale MacPherson) and Margaret. Grandmother to Christopher, Jonathan and David Godbeer and Katherine Houle. Great-grandmother to Hannah. Predeceased by her brother William Heately and sister Ruby Tompkins. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association of Canada, Suite 977-167 Lombard Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3B 0V3 would be appreciated. Many thanks to the staff of the Manoir Lac Brome and to Dr. Desy for their care. A memorial service will be held at St. Andrew's United Church, located between 15th and 16th Avenue, entrance via Blvd St. Joseph, Lachine on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. The family will receive visitors one half hour prior to the service.
