Clarke Franklyn MERRITT

MERRITT, Dr. Clarke Franklyn. Died on September 8, 2007 at the Montreal General Hospital. He loved his wife Sylvia May Brumby, a dear father to his sons Warren (Debra) and Clarke (Dorothea), beloved Poppa of Jonathan and Christopher. Clarke Merritt was born on May 16, 1915 in Grimsby, On, He grew up in Chateauguay, Qc and then Verdun, Qc. He was educated at McDonald College, Sir George William and McGill University Medical School. He practiced Dentistry in Westmount and Van Kleek Hill, On. He helped children at the Shriner's Hospital. He and Sylvia retired to Ayers Cliff by the Lake, where he taught Jonathan how to fish. "No more by thee my steps shall be." Our special thanks to the doctors, nurses, staff and caregivers at the Montreal General Hospital. A private funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Shriner's Hospital or to the Montreal General Hospital would be appreciated.
